To continue to offer our services in this time we have had to change our fundamental way of order taking. Due to low volume of flower demand to both our supplier and to us we are unable to keep a full refrigerator on hand.
Tough decisions and I'm so sorry to say we may not be doing daily orders with delivery for some time.
BUT, we can serve you with beautiful flowers and arrangements if we are given some time. About one week, but sometimes more, depending on flower type.
Read more for details. The wholesale market we depend on sources flowers from around the world and the airlines they use are mostly passenger flights and there are fewer than before March of 2020. Also, the flower farms have had to plow under a lot of crops for a variety of reasons leading to our market working with a small percentage of their usual inventory. They now require advance ordering much as we are also needing to change our habits.
We ask you to think ahead when requesting your birthday, anniversary or just because arrangements. Planning ahead will insure we won't disappoint you.
Peter and Gari Richardson bring two lifetimes of commitment to beautiful design to their Sedona floral shop.
Peter's first 35 years in floral design were established back East, initially learning the floral trade from old established mainstream floral shops. His creativity and design eye were honed in art school earning a Bachelors degree at SVA, and a Masters in Painting from Yale University.
Former clients from his floral design career in NYC include MoMA, MET Museum, and a list of New York political, Broadway and screen stars.
Gari is also an SVA graduate. Her communications, media and design skills are at the core of the shop.
Sedona Fine Art of Flowers opened in Sedona in 2011 and moved to their present location in 2015.
Peter excels at both design and flower selection. He travels to the Phoenix market weekly to select only what looks the very best quality of what is available.
